My youngest son attends half his school day at a vocational school studying culinary.
Tonight was the school's open house that we attended. We found out that they run the culinary department as if the students were working at a resturant. They use a time card, are responsible keeping their uniform clean and maintained and will be treated as an employer/employee.
The school gives the student every opportunity to succeed, compete and earn culinary accomplishments as well as scholarships if the students have the drive to do so.
I am glad Jordan is taking this through high school before he makes the commitment to going to college for culinary.
