Not as often as I used to. I think I only gave Todd flowers once, when he had back surgery.

I think that would be about equal; but only because Todd takes the train to work, it would be Mary

Not sure on this one.

Mary mostly handles things and when it gets to the point where she is frustrated or doesn't want to deal with the situation anymore, then Todd takes over. So both?

No ink, yet

♥ Who eats more sweets?
Both but Todd has a bigger sweet tooth then Mary

♥ Who cries more?
Neither of us are criers.

Hotel for Dogs

2 movies in one day? That just isn't like me at all.
Todd and I took our nephew to see Hotel for Dogs this afternoon. I promised Nik that when the movie came out I would take him; so today was the 1st opportunity for me to do so.
Plot: Two foster kids secretly take in stray dogs at a vacant hotel.
It was a really fun movie and some of the things that these dogs were trained to do was very impressive. Some of the stars in the movie are: Emma Roberts, Jake T. Austin (he's the voice of Diego in GO Diego Go) Don Cheadle, Lisa Kudrow, Kevin Dillon plus a bunch of really talented Dogs.
A fun movie for kids and dogs lovers.

The Horse's Mouth

I love watching old movies on Sunday mornings. This morning on TCM was The Horse's Mouth starring Alec Guinness and Kay Walsh. When I hit info button about this movie I decided to sit down and watch it. Discription from info on Comcast: He has no manners, no morals and no money, but Gulley Jimson artist is a genius. Alec Guinness wrote the screenplay from the novel plays the artist.

Todd and I thought it was a strange, but funny movie.

TMC is doing the 31 days of Oscar and this movie was nominated for best screenplay in 1959.

Happy Valentines Day!

Happy Valentines Day! Make sure you remember someone you LOVE today!!!

My dear husband got me the laptop listed in the post below (which I got confirmation that it shipped so I will be getting it sometime next week, whoo hoo!)
and we will be getting Chinese for dinner. YUM!!!! Todd's valentines day gift sits in the garage, I have been told I don't owe him gifts for awhile.

New Toy

I am getting a new expensive toy!
My laptop is on it's last days. There are times the mouse just doesn't want to work anymore and it will locks up on me for no reason at all.
My loving husband sat down with me this weekend and we ordered a new laptop for me. Just for me! Well I am going to let Todd use it on occasions because it is going to have a webcam on it and he will be able to Skype with his brother instead of using the old slow camera that we have.
I can't wait until it arrives so I can play. Once Todd gets it all set up for me of course.
Oh yeah it's RED!!!

Ice Sculpting Festival

This weekend is the Ice Sculpting Festival in a neighboring town. They carved all the store front sculptures on Friday evening and today they were all on display in front of the stores that sponsered the event. Today they were having a sculpting competition by the train station. We got there early and glad we did because a lot of the sculptures were starting to melt. We didn't stick around for the competition though. This years theme was Mardi Gra.

Fish in Block of Ice. There were quite a few sculptures right by the train station, most were pretty much melted where you couldn't make out what they were supposed to be. This was one that still was kind of intact.

This is the Wizards Crystal Ball (from the picture above) that fell off the sculpture. We saw this walking back to our car and Todd took a pic of it.

Layout 2 of 52 for 2009

This is another 2 page layout from our trip to Tennessee last June.
This shows the incline that we would have to travel up to our cabin, I would call it the driveway up to the cabin. I do have more pictures of this incline taken when we were actually driving up the incline in the car that I will eventually scrapbook and post.
