Might as well post one of the layouts I did this past weekend. This is a 2 page layout. The 1st page ended up being one of the layouts I previously did; I like the 1st layout I did with this pictures better so I will put that page with page 2 of this layout.

An Evening of Scrapbooking
Last night I had the opportunity to go Scrapbooking at Archivers with my sister.
I was very productive and got 11 pages done. I will post these within the next 11 weeks. Unfotunately when I was putting the pages in my scrapbooks, I found 2 of the layouts were previously done. UGH! I guess before I decide to use pictures in a layout, I should make sure I haven't already used the pictures in another layout.

Inner Turmoil
Starting last Sunday my Brother in Law was in their Church's drama "Inner Turmoil." He has the part of Sorrow in a four-part Holy Week play and is really doing an awesome job. I was able to go see the 1st two parts of the play but missed tonights. We had a snow storm earlier in the day (Yes it's still snowing in March) and we were not sure how the weather was going to hold up.
Hoping to see the last part of the play on Easter Sunday.

M&M Commercials that crack me up!
Here are 2 M&M commercials that I really get a kick out of.
One I have seen on tv the other I found on YouTUBE.

3, 5 and 17
Today the company I work for laid-off 3 people in the department I work in, 5 people total on our floor and from what I heard 17 total within the company.
This has been the 2nd set of layoffs within the month.
They claim this will be the last of the layoffs, but you know how companies say things just to calm the storm.
Their excuse for the layoffs is because of our current economies state. Could be but why doesn't middle or upper management ever get laid off along with the non management employees?
Just wondering....

11th Layout of 52
This is a 2 page layout of Todd building our new grill last summer. I think we got our money's worth out of it, soon after it was built Todd christened it by having about 9 of his former co-workers (all male) over for a BBQ.
In the bottom right picture, Todd napped after the building of the grill.
Such hard work.

Warmer weather equals
Motorcycle.
During dinner I asked Todd since the tempature got up to 50 today; does he have the urge to ride?
After dinner I asked Todd if he was going to see if the bike would start. He said if it started he would take it out for a ride, if not he would accompany me to the grocery store.
Well it started and he rode for about 30 mins. He doesn't like to ride once it gets dark. So I am sure if the weather stays above 50 degress he will be out riding often.

Cute Commercail Alert
There is a real cute Huggies baby wipe commercail that I saw tonight.
A rubber duck is watching this toddler get messy in a few different scenes, each time the toddler gets messy the duck looks happy that the toddler will be taking a bath but then mom brings a Huggies baby wipe and cleans up the toddler. After each huggie is used, they flash to the duck all sad because there will be no bath.
Very cute commercail

Spinach Calabrese YUM!
Lois a co-work of mine brought in 2 large spinach calabrese's today.
Her husband manages an Aurelio's Pizza resturant and had to make over 200 calabrese for some event. So I guess he made extra and Lois brought 2 of them to work. She gave 1 to me and the other was divided between 2 other coworkers. I brought it home and baked it for Todd and I for dinner. YUM! We ate about 1/2 of it and have the rest to enjoy for lunch tomorrow. If it didn't have pizza sauce in it, to me it would have tasted just like Spanakopita (Greek Spinach Pie)
I told Todd that I am going to place special orders with Lois and have her delivery them to work occasionally on Friday's. LOL

2 Acedemic Achievement Awards in 1 Week
This past week both boys were honored with acedemic acheivement awards from their High School.
Jordan received an award for academic improvement. This award was given to the student who has had the most improved grade point average in the past year.
Then today Ethan received The Prairie State Achievement Award. He exceeded the IL learning standards in Reading and was presented a certificate by the IL State Board of Education. Basically he scored extemely well in Reading when he took his SAT's his Junior year.
He definitely inherited this from his father's side of the family.
We are so very proud of both our boys.

Wow that means this is the 10th week of the year already.
Here is a card I made last weekend for a bloggers challenge. We will probably make a card similar to this at a future camp. Sorry about how dark the scan is, I have to figure out why our scanner is scanning things dark, it's probably the settings.
All materials Stampin' Up!

Their Back, Yea!
Todd took the boys to his hometown this weekend. He was invited to sing at his sisters church and I needed to stay home because I had to get cards and supplies ready for stamp camp next weekend (It ended up being very frustrating and not very preductive, but that's another story)
I always like having time to myself but I do miss my family and am always happy when I see the car pull in the driveway. Jordan did most of the driving to get some more time in and to build his confidence in driving.
It's so nice to have my family back home and safe.
